Southern Indiana is getting the heaviest but that means it's tracking right into Oldham County, sparing Louisville somewhat in comparison.  This looks like a significant weather event to me. Last night the International Space Station flew overhead around 8:48pm followed just a few minutes later by the shuttle.  They docked today and we were treated to another flyover around 9:15. Not to be confused with the Kildeer (or Plovers) screaming from the sky (sounding very peeperish themselves.) Crabgrass starts to germinate when soil temperatures hit about 55°F for 24-48 hours.  Our soil temp probe is 5 inches deep.  So, it's likely a little warmer near the surface.There seem to be a lot of myths about crabgrass germination.
